COMMENTS
That we have just been asked to put together a set of early Pre-Federation specimen notes for a client’s superannuation fund reflects the price at which they are being offered and their perceived investment value. And we would encourage other clients to consider similarly for these notes have genuine potential.

PRICE

COMMENTS
The Cracked Die Adelaide Pound was struck in the very first run of forty coins minted at the Assay Office in Adelaide. Owning a Cracked Die is for many collectors a lifetime’s ambition. The coin is rare and is highly valued, so finding an example that doesn’t break the bank is no easy task. This Adelaide Pound is as far as we are concerned the perfect package. Yes it has circulated but it is a beauty; a superb piece of 22 carat gold.

COMMENTS
In an interview conducted in 2013, journalist Anthony Black asked Coinworks to list ten coin rarities that were priced below $ 5000 and that, in our opinion, were destined for growth. The Proof Sets struck by the Melbourne Mint and Perth Mint - between 1955 and 1963 - were high on our list of recommendations. This 1956 Melbourne Mint Proof Set is one such set.
