COMMENTS
A 1930 Penny priced below $19,000. It's an event that's almost as rare as the coin itself. As our photographs detail, there are a couple of edge knocks on the obverse, but they are minor. And that's as far as it goes with the negatives for this 1930 Penny has a technical grading of Good Fine and clearly shows the right-hand side of the central diamond and six plump pearls in the crown. Furthermore, the coin has handsome even toning and minimal marks in the fields. At $18,500 this 1930 Penny offers extremely good value and is available now.

Now while 1930 Pennies are popular at all price levels, those coins offered in the under $20,000 bracket are perhaps the most eagerly sought.

And they are simply not readily available.

This coin is a definite one-off. And once sold we know that it will be extremely difficult to replace.

Acquired from KJC Coins, Sydney it has been held in the one holding for more than a decade.

The 1930 Penny was minted at the Melbourne Mint by accident.

No one knew of its existence until the 1940s which means that the coins were used, with the majority very well used, before collectors discovered its existence.

Irrespective of the quality level, the pride of owning the 1930 Penny is immeasurable.
